People Viewing the Yankee Pitcher's Plane Crash

it's amazing how every major news event in this world is captured with a camera...

And a few blocks away, for those that remember, about three months ago a doctor involved in a nasty divorce case, deliberately blew up his $5 million brownstone in New York City, telephoning his soon to be ex wife (widow) telling her she'd have only bricks and cinder if she thought she was going to get half the value of the home.

This is what remains:

This was taken with my 70-300 DO, sun shining in from the left, at 300, shutter speed 1/30th, ISO 100, at 300mm, handheld. And this is about 500 feet away.

Well, that happens to be true, but it ain't this ritzy neighborhood. I live 50 miles northeast of Manhattan, in Westchester County, the first suburb north of New York City, where it's bucolic, green pastures, horse farms, etc. But I do wish I lived around the corner from Bubba's.

Great shots Mark, Its a pity that these horrific scenes take place at all but you have enlightened us all to what it looked like close up..
