Hi, Mark.

Thanks for posting these images - it's always more interesting to see images other than what the news/media wants to show us. As it turns out, myself and my sister both work at New York Presbyterian Hospital, no more than 2 blocks south of where this occured.

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately, depending on how one looks at it), the day this occured was my regular day off. I'm an EMT working within the FDNY 911 system there, and the unit I work would have been one of the first on scene.

At any rate, thanks again for these images.

- John.

Nice captures. It's impressive to see how close the 300 can zoom in. Nice hands with that 1/30th shutter speed.

Nice series, excellent photos. I especially like the two blondes with their P&S. I'll bet the flashes were going off too....

A disaster sitting in front of you and of course I still find you taking pictures of skin. Yet again, you refuse to let us down. ;)

It's an awesome series, great work. Exposures are clean, and the processing is clean. I'm sure it looks loads better on your computer, though again, it still looks great on mine. Was this during your day out with the gal?

"Oh OK, I'll move it out of the way next time."

Yes, indeed, it was. And it was followed by Wo Hops. :)

Thank you for saying that. I actually realized later that I should have taken a wide shot. I think I did but didn't post it. I'll have to check when I get home.
