Took this picture at my cousins wedding. This is my a picture of my cousin -- not the one getting married ;).

Let me know what you think of this shot and how I can improve on it.

Thanks

ISO - 200 -- Aperture - f/6.3 -- Exposure - 1/200

I don't think you can improve on it. It's perfect the way it is. :)

Got a nice big grain of salt? good, take a little of it in reading this.

It is a beautiful image. Love the bright eyes and smile.

That said, it perhaps suffers from the compromises one must make when making an image web-friendly. It looked a little washed out on my screen. I played around with it in PS so I hope you don't mind an alternative look. :)

For what it's worth...

She is cute! I would have like to seen her eyes perfectly sharp... but that is me being picky. :)

Awesome shot.

The space on the right (subject's left) doesn't really add anything to it and the bit of sun through the tree in the corner I find distracting (probably worse on screen than in print). I would crop that out and center the subject.

In a perfect world, I would prefer a bit more room above her head to catch all of her stray hairs and more room at the bottom to include the rest of the rose.

I really like the lighting, the color is wonderful and her expression is priceless.

I like the image a lot ! The space to her side ok ... centering is never a good thing. I am posting my version in a step-mount. Her eyes are now brighter and I retouched out the bags under. I slightly softened the background and took out the hot spot. I also worked on the color balance & density. I've placed her eyes as close as I could to the upper left (2nd) quadrant for comosition.

i think with this picture it looks better when its centered
i liek to add like the extra space on the sides but only when there is something interesting in the back or it showing depth of the pic but it is a great pic good job

It would look better in portrait...and i think she is a bit over exposed.
