What do you all think? I would appreciate all comments, critiques, suggestions, etc. I'm learning, so let me have it!:) All taken with my Canon Rebet XT and Sigma 70-200mm lens with 1.4x TC.

I can't find any fault with it. Saturation, contrast, sharpness, composition all look great to me!

Jenn, great pictures. My only suggestion to you which was also given to me (ha) is to try and keep their hands/arms/feet in the picture. I tend to cut off feet at times.

You used the 70-200 with the extender huh? Your pictures are so crisp and sharp, can you tell me what your set up was? I'm always trying to better my pictures as well. Are you using TV? What are you focusing on? I go back and forth from focusing on their faces to the ball. Can't decide.

Thanks and great pictures!

Thank you, TeeJay!:D Like I said, I always seem to find fault with my photos. That's one of the disadvantages of being a perfectionist...can't seem to find a picture of mine that's just right! I just hope my kids' teammates like their pictures.:(

Thanks, Karman!:D I seem to cut off limbs every now and then.:o I try not to, but it still happens.

Yes, I did use my 70-200 w/1.4 TC. It was a pretty cloudy day, so I had my WB set to 'Cloudy'. I was in AV mode wide open at f/4, ISO 200, AI Servo, with focus point on the one second from the top (I was doing all vertical shots). And I always focus on the face. Hope this helps!:)

Thanks JennB. I shot in AV mode last Saturday at my sons soccer game and I didn't have as many keepers as I do in TV mode. I'm going to give it another go though. Thanks for the response.

Glad to help! Definitely give AV another try...but if you find that TV still works best for you, then stay with it.:)
