Wow I love all of those shots, esp the first two--where is this, by the way? Beautiful site and great shots. Also what lens and camera were you using??

I was there weekend before last. Your pics turned out much better than mine.

Was it busy at Old Mans Cave? Did you have to wait a while for the people to clear out before you go tyour shots? Did you set up a tripod in that Cauldin shot? It was jammed when I was there

If there were people lingering about it would have been a tight fit.

Is this in Ohio? I lived in Dayton for a year and never saw this place if it is... Also please say which lens you used for these pictures.

I like the last one best. They are all very good. Normally I am not a fan of people in landscape shots. But having someone in the picture gave it perspective that I think it might have lacked without. Nice shots. :)

2 Samuel 9:7-8, "So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.” Then he bowed himself, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?”

I've never heard of Hocking Hills, so I did a search and found that it's just southeast of Columbus.

#3 and #5 are fantastic, with 3 being the winner for me. I'm definitely going to make a trip to this place sometime in the near future.

Yep...it is just south of Columbus...about 2 hours from Dayton I suppose. It's a fantastic place and to be honest, these shots are only a fraction of the sights af the region.

The camera lens combo was the 20D and the Tamron 28-75 f2.8.

Thanks for all the positive feedback....

beautiful shots and i especially like the last one with the person in the shot really conveys how big the fall is.

Very nice, and the power of water to wear out the rocks is very evident in the second-last shot.
