but i am really happy with how it turned out. Taken with the 28-135 is, 1/400 f5.6

Hey Tina,

Like the shot very much. Are you using extension tubes to get these shots?

Hi Tina;
Has the look of a type of Hypericum to me; but you'll need an Ozzie expert to verify!
On the image front - to me - it looks a little on the dark side. Might benefit with a bit of bumping...
Other than that - nice work;

Lee is right Tina. I went out to the garden and the plant still had its tag stuck in the ground! It's a Hypericum or a St John's Wort. (Supposed to be a natural antidepressant, but I don't think I'll go out and munch on some to see!)

Paul, i used to take hypericum, the kids drove me to distraction! And i don't think i will munch on it either!
Lee, i had a play lightening it a bit, but it didn't do any good. there is a sort of smudgyness that then comes thru. Not sure what is is, dark bokeh maybe. Appreciate your point of view though.
