Is there a program that can search and find duplicate photo files in folders and then remove user selected files?
ACDSee8 has a find duplicate feature, but you can only select a single file to delete, then the feature closes and you have to start over again
Thanks for any help

I googled "duplicate files" and got allot of options. Not sure which ones would be the right ones to pick.

I recently did this manually on a few file names that I thought would be candidates. I had ended up putting customer files on two different drives in a moment of insanity. I used windows search function and input the customer name in the search and easily found them. This only works if you have a naming convention that lends itself to this type of search.

I would caution against automatically deleting files without the option of being able to review them on a case by case situation. How do you know that the right one will be deleted?

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

This is a theme that I have currently on-going.

Try "googling" - find duplicate photo files.

Many options come up.

BTW, I use "Doublekiller"
