really nice. its not overcrowded, very basic and to the point, not loaded with a bunch of crap no one cares about.

however, i would choose a different photo for your home page. i dont think that photo shows off your best work.

i think its really nice.

Thanks, I'm just getting started in the Photog. business so I don't have lots of images to fill the site with...when I get enough images I might add 2 pages to each gallery

I like the navigation. The image size is a little smaller than I like personally, but there are a lot of sites with smaller pics. I would agree about the home page photo. IMO, depending on what you are selling, the first photo should be something fun where the people are laughing, a baby laughing, or very intimate and romantic, like a shadow dance, or a misty shot. The pic on your front page is like a shot a client will want, and choose for newspaper wedding announcements, etc. Often shots the client hates because "I have a goofy grin" or "my teeth are showing" are the best pics from an aesthetic aspect.

That said if I were trying to get in the photograph business I would go to the streets and ask people if I could shoot them in return for an 8x10 print. This is the great thing about digital, you are only out your time. I would go to high school sports events and take photos. Catch people after church. What ever it takes to put together a good portfolio.

If it were me I would get the names/email address of everyone I shoot then direct them to a proof page to pick out their free 8x10. If you are lucky they will buy additional prints. You can put together a portfolio quickly.

Don't forget successful people in any business are salespeople first. Your website is a sales tool, showcase the best.;)

I didn't notice you were in Nashville, even better. You could go to the tourist district get email addresses and without much doubt the people would buy additional prints if they were good.

Don't wait for the business to come to you, go get it.:)

i like the changing front pics, however, when i went to it, it only went back and forth to the same two photos for a while, then eventually, went on to other pics.

I like your new front page. Good job.

To get the coding open the page then go to 'view-->source'. I use Coffeecup Free HTML Editor, it adds a line under 'file-->edit with Coffeecup HTML editor' that works on most any page you happen to be looking at in your InternetExplorer.
