I used to use the neck strap all the time but found it really started to rack me off. Unless I'm walking a lot with my camera, I don't bother and just hold it by the battery grip...

Yeah. Had. Saturday I put the strap on, and when I let my camera down to rest at the end of the strap.... it popped off. My camera took a three-ish foot dive onto the concrete below. Luckily I only got a couple little scratches. http://www.flickr.com/photos/nicholasgraf/

I guess they hadn't realized at that time how much money they could save by giving "bad" straps DDA - C&C welcomed and encouraged

The price is right and it helps the cause too....you win all around! Your poll forgot to mention the option of both straps....which comes in handy on many occasions. And very comfortable to wear. Jim

Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

Oct 17, 2006 19:14 | #29 Voted Strap (around neck) as I have the POTN strap but rarely have it around my neck, most of the time the short ends are connected and use it that way. The camera gets carried around in my bag. 7D MKII ■ 10-22 ■ 15-85 ■ 28-135 ■ Σ 50-150 ■ 70-200 f4L ■ 100-400L ■ 580EX II

I leave it so I can actually slip my arm through as well so it doesn't bang around as much when I'm out hiking or any other time I need a camera and both hands
