The youth these days.....lol
Seriously though, WHY as teenagers do we do things like this? We all have these fads, and i remember ours (6yrs ago mind you eeep!) was - it was sooo long ago that i forget hahaha. But i remember fads coming and going and i think back and im like "What the? We are losers!" hahah

But no im not here to judge and im sorry :)
I think the first shot is kinda cool, with the backlight in her hair i think that is a nice job. Although the angle makes her look like she has a honker nose and you used the bandana to cover it lol

2nd shot is OK, i like the angle but again those bandanas make you looke like you all have big noses...

3rd shot is blurred - i dont like it at all...

4th is kinda boring, but its one time i actually like the shadow in the background

5th i like the processing, and the positioning but the subject isn't too great, take off the bandana and voila! nice shot...i kinda like the cropping too.

6th is just wierd dood....is that condoning paint sniffing or something? If it is..then ditch it. Other than that - if it DOESN'T imply paint sniffing then it be an OK shot, white ballance is off, play around with your settings, it;s just too orange.

I was shooting all through high school, you jsut have to have willing subjects, even if they are older peers out of highschool, usually then its out of the circle of friends who think its wierd or silly. It has basically taken me all this time, and now im 24, to get where i am and that is in a way a long time, but im still so young. Im working in a studio, i do weddings on the side - im at my dream. Just keep at it, practice does make things easier in the long run!!!

#5 actually cracked me up as he's looking all en cognito with a digital "cover" over his eyes like he doesn't want to be recognized and yet the cover is his name. LOL! "Oh, who is that?? Right, it's Nick!"

Love your expression of individuality whatever it may be and the girl's eyes in the first shot are gorgeous. Love the last shot too despite the wb being off.
