Can't we get a side order of Red Snapper with that?...

"A" it is...the contrast is subtle and yet perfectly balanced with the sky...the white paint and lawn colors are very real...

When I saw Port Isabel in the title, the Red Snapper from the Gulf's blue waters, was the first thing that came to mind...

I certainly miss the off shore fishing there...

Thanks for sharing the photo...

The colors are vibrant, but the lighthouse seems to be missing a little detail. Perhaps this was intentional.

Adamjl, regarding the white on the light house, that white is straight from the camera... I just used selective coloring in photoshop for the blues and greens.

sparker1, can you elaborate on "detail missing on the lighthouse"? I really dont understand what you mean. Does it need more color, or contrast, or does the sky and grass draw more attention?

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice shot. The missing detail I'm referring to is the texture of the lighthouse wall. You can see it on the left edge of the tower, but it doesn't show on the lighted portion.
