New to Photography

Hey i'm very very new to this, and this may be a dumb question could some one help explain to me the different in the lens.... whats all the numbers are for and whats what.... please help a link to another page or site would be good....

Also check this article about exposure (A rather difficult subject to understand if you are a real newbie). Site additionally gives you a lot more interesting info too. You may want to get yourself register to see all postings, that is free and no pop ups etc. I got above link also from the same site.
