Lisa these are just stunning. The colors are wonderful and a great model you have there.

Now at the risk of sounding totaly stupid (I can do that since I am a newbie) Which lens is considered "The Magic Drianpipe" LOL

Sorry, its the Canon 80-200 2.8. I almost always use my Tamron 28-75 but it seems to not be working correctly.

Those pictures are amazing! Great work! Would you share what settings you used and your post processing? I took some the other day of my kids using my 50mm 1.4 and they didn't come out nearly like that! Anything you could tell me would be great! Thanks!

I usually never shoot with the aperature past 4 unless there are 2 or more people. I shoot in manual mode and manually set my focus points. This can be difficult when you are dealing with little people who never sit still but I find I still get the best results. I always set the focus to just between the eyes.
I am by no means a photoshop expert, I know there are many in this forum far more knowledgable than I. Post processing almost always includes a levels adjustment, a full USM set at about 65,1,0. For an extra POP to the eyes I will usually use the lasso tool and select both eyes, then select-feather-feather radius 5 pixels. From there I can brighten, contrast, or sharpen a bit more. These days I am trying harder to ensure I have to do less post processing but certain things are just unavoidable.
