First 2 the light on the girls looks spot on. Not sure about the background both the wrinkles or the focus, I got some large "pegs" from a cheapo DIY place B&M bargains had something similar a couple of weeks back that let you pull the back drop tight. I'd also move the backdrop further away from the subject in an ideal world. I know I try and shoot at home and you end up so close you have no option in this.

3,4and 5 your white balance looks a little out but I too like 4 the best. The younger girl has something about her, that stair is incredible.

Thanks. They are gorgeous arnt they!

Chloe in #3 you can tell slighly has a disabilty to her left side. She doesnt really have use of that side and you can tell in her smile as one side droops but she did so well.

I am really pleased you cant really notice it anywhere else!

Yeh the BG is just a bed sheet. these were shot in college but the studio there is dire. this was as far away as i could get them. i might have to try and clone all the wrinkles out.

I did take some bulldog clips but the wall just extends either side and there was no where to attach them too to keep the sheet taught :(

Tell me about it, I've just started at Blackpool and they have great studio space but it's filled with 10's of hopeless hot lights cluttering up the place and the only pair of strobes don't sync with each other.

I wouldn't worry about the wrinkles, I'm only being picky. I must try and stop that and maybe one day I'll have the guts to post some images of my own.

They may have more than 1 studio but the one I've seen has great potential with space and rails for lights just too many of the wrong sort. I have some of my own but can't use them there as they aren't college tested. That said the quality of some of the other students I see posted is incredible I feel very humble looking at the full timers work.
