This past weekend my oldest daughters boyfriend of about 6 years finally asked her to marry him. he also asked me to take some pics moments after he proposed. Here are a few. I had to take these as it was nearing dark, I actually had to rush him on the proposal so we would have some daylight left. Anyway had to shoot at around ISO 800 on most of these to be able to get a decent shutter speed. C&C please. I need it.

Thanks
Greg

Jessica acting silly, Not a great pic a little blurry as it was near the end of the shoot and getting dark. I played with it messing around...maybe to much

They are very nice shots (congratulations to your daughter). The only thing I would have liked to have seen was not having their feet cut off in the first photo. Other than that I like them.

Permagrin LOL, Well thats why I ask for C&C I have looked at these somuch an never noticed it till you pointed it out. Went back to the origianal and had two shots just like it the other has the feet just in the frame but was not quite as sharp. I may try and fix it up. Thanks

I wasn't knocking your photos! Really, they are lovely. The only thing I saw was the feet. Your daughter will find them to be beautiful engagement reminders.

Congrats. Nice set of photos. I'm not sure I agree with the feet comment.

No, No I never thought you were knocking the photo's . Not for a minute. I honestly had just never noticed it and even though I am a beginner I have read enough to know I need to look for things like that. I apprecite you bringing it to my attention. Can't get better unless the faults the pointed out. Many thanks

Greg

What effect are you using in your pp. Looks kinda like midnight sepia in cs. Anyone know how to do this manually in PS 7.0

I like the photos. Congrats to your daughter. I didn't notice the feet being cut off in #1, but now that permagrin points it out, I do agree.

Yeah some times I get a little to carried away with the pp. I have alway been one that like things a little differnet from main stream. Not way to other side but just a little something different.

As far as pp goes I tried several thing on differnet shots. The first one and last it was a action called gothic glow. Number 2 I used a filter called "Halo" part of the 55mm plugin set and on 3 I converted to BW and then then used a plugin called center point from the 55mm set also. Number 4 I really can't remember.

Should I lay off the filter and go for a more natural look with these?? If they are to over the top feel free to say so please.

Thanks for all the comments. I appreciate them

Greg

I would not say that the PP looks bad just not my taste. I like it when it is hard to see that it has been post processed... :)
