Very very nice shot. I'm assuming you used your 17-40 for that? I like the framing too.

Perfect balance of moody darkness but with retention of detail. Like the others I would ask you to please share some of your settings and workflow. This result is what I would like to attempt to achieve. :)

Thanks for all the comments, guys.
This was my favourite shot of the bunch from my trip to Mull this week.

To answer some questions, yes it was the 17-40L @ 17 with a Lee CP Filter and using the 1DMKII.
1/15 sec , f8 , ISO 200 ( handheld ) RAW.
The post processing - Usual levels, colour balance, tweaking of curves and Hue/Saturation and ...... sorry ....some messing about ?! not very scientific, I know. :o
