Whiskered Tern in flight

I used a canoe to get near these Chlidonias hybridus at Lake Palakpakin (Philippines). It was tough to get them in flight because my panning movement is limited to a maximum of 90 degree arc (I'm scared to tip over the boat with aggressive movement, my 1DM2 + 400 5.6L can't swim).... :wink:

1DM2 + 400 5.6, 1/1600 sec, ISO 400, f/8, manual exposure, hand held

It was manually exposed (M mode), but I took advantage of the 1DM2's superb AI servo AF....;)
