The famous Brandenburg gate was until 1989 located in no- mans-land in East Germany. At the fall of the wall the Gate became known as a symbol of freedom and was reopened for public access. Now restored it is again a popular place for tourists, locals and buskers with a great atmosphere.

Taken with Tokina 12-24 and some perspective correction added.

Paul

I like the sky too as it seems to radiate from the gate.

I agree! That was my first thought. Beautiful shot!

Thanks for the comments, I like the way the 12-24mm really exaggerates the sky but of course the trade off is converging verticals. Very happy with the lens though.

Great wide angle shot. You tell you did perspective correction but I see that the right side still has \\ lines. Make sure the middle of the shot is || and then correct the / | \ to | | |. See this tutorial that I wrote some time ago: tutorial (external link)
You will never guess what the sample photo is of in this tutorial... :D

Great shot there Paul, very good skies too.

Must investigate the world of wide angle lenses

Bottom right might need a bit of a pull out.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p
