So, I'm ordering an XTi (hopefully this weekend!!!!!!!yay yay yay finally!!)

I'm getting the body only because my step dad has an xt and a crap load of lenses, but I have my own 35mm slr and crap load of lenses.

I'm wondering if any of my lenses would fit the xti. I have one canon lens and a couple other miscellaneous. Any input?

yep. EF lenses fit all canon bodies. EF-S lenses are the only ones that are designated for the XTi/20D/30D.

There are adaptors for many lenses also. Olympus OM, Leica R, Contax/Yashica, M42....

I wouldn't recommend mounting FD glass on an EOS body though, the glass in the adaptor required will degrade image quality too much to make it worthwhile.

Too much gear...
