I like the flare over her left shoulder. The green one on her hat is a bit distracting.

Me too, I'd crop just above the knee to improve it.

Looks fine to me. It is difficult to get flare right when you want to use flare. This looks like a fine execution of using flare. Some adjusting of levels and a small amount of sharpening may make this pop...
My attempt to add just a lil more pop and reduce the flare in some parts... Not much difference. Great image!

you could remove that green dot if you want, but I think it's fine. I didn't notice it until someone mentioned it.

Freddeh: She does! She looks like a lot of people actually, hahha. I was thinking she was very Uma Thurman looking. She's far better looking, of course.

Thanks for the comments. I like Ryan's edit, I think my final was similar to that. The original was pretty much straight from camera, put through ACR, then jpeg'ed.

I think I shot that with my 17-40L.
