I am thinking of purchasing the Canon EF 2.8mm 300 Lens, I would be grateful If any owners of this lens would post their opinions on same.

Do a search, a few of these threads have popped up in the last couple days. The 2.8mm EF 300 is a new lens to me. I heard of the Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L.
