Am just looking at getting my first home studio setup and would like some ideas of what i would be best getting as a starting point. Is it wise to buy a custom set by one of the main manufacturers or would anyone have any ideas of what to start out with. Also is it still possible to use the 580 as an extra light source if i only go for a 2 head setup. Am in the UK and have had my eye on the new D-Lite 2 from elinchrom which is a complete 2 head kit with a 65cmx65cm and 53cmx53cm softboxes cliplock stands etc which retail at £415+vat.
