I'm scanning/restoring some slides taken by my sister during the late 60's (throughout Europe) and came across this. The crappy (Agfachrome?) slide has deteriorated so much, it's become a natural sepia. I thought it looked a pretty good effect. Might try to reproduced it on some modern shots I've taken.

This is exactly as it came off the scanner...no PP...

It's too bad the shot is so off kilter. It seems like just a snapshot but it's age makes it interesting.

I don't know where this is or what it represents. I'm apparently too young. :(

Oh shucks I'm not only old enough to remember sepia photos, but I've been through Check Point Charlie, in Berlin - in 1967!

Hey! I never said my sister was a "photographer":D It IS just a snapshot really...nothing artistic about it, but the sepia and cracked edge effect is interesting.

Cool effect. IT's the most famous checkpoint in the Berlin wall. It's the location of all the spy trades between the Soviets and US in the movies.

Love the effect!

Still kicking myself for not going to see this when I was in Germany in the 60's. I was a dumb kid I guess.

Technically, I'm old enough & I was born very close to there...but I was 8mo. old so I don't remember...cool shot though, just for the memories even!
