Thanks everyone for the feedback! She was a blast to hang out with this weekend. We went to the headlands just off the Golden Gate this morning and took more pictures for about an hour or so, I still have a ton of processing to do.

To answer the questions...

The first shot looks flat to me too. I am going to warm it up a bit when I process it for print. I was alone so I didn't take any strobes with me. I just had my 550 ex. The sun hadn't peeked up over the hills yet, but I wanted a shot on that rock before the tide was in too far.

When the light did show up it was spectacular. So warm and bright. Her eyes needed no enhancement, they are a very bright pale blue with a dark ring around.

...and no, I am not a kung fu master, but I do get lucky sometimes.

Thanks again for the comments. I'm sure I'll post a few more when I get through them all.

Very nice work. I have been looking at some of your work on here.. What lense on these shots. Or what lenses do you normally use. Nice work.
How much PS is done on these. Just wondering.

I use my 85mm and 35mm most, I used a Canon 70 - 200 zoom for a bit this morning to save me from running up and down the beach.

Only photoshop is RAW conversion resize and sharpen.
