Had an hour to kill so went for a walk and took a few candid/snapshots.
Met this girl who was taking pics of anything and everything so I took a couple of her. I did ask her permission and said thankyou by taking her for a coffee

Are laws diff in New Zealand? At least in the United States, you wouldn't have to ask permission to photograph someone in public, as long as it was not for commercial use.

Anyway, all those bags. Makes me think of me when I go to school and have my camera equipment and laptop! Nice photo.

No you don't have to ask but thought it was the decent thing to do. Would hsve been embsarrising to get a good old fashioned telling off with lots of people around:o
