Is it the London or Tower Bridge or are they one in the same? I love the detail and the sky is great.

Nice capture with a dramatic sky. My son was in London last weekend and he said it was actually sunny!

That is the Tower Bridge. The old London Bridge is actually in Lake Havasu, Arizona where it was transported brick by brick, reconstructed and then they diverted a river to run underneath it.

Yeah, thank you for the clarification Rich. I thought it was the Tower Bridge but forgot all about the London Bridge being in the states. :o ;)

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Excellent shot buddy, with a great forboding sky (get used to it! :) )

Next time you are in town, The Tower of London is a must visit that will keep you and your camera busy all day, not a million miles away from the Tower Bridge.

Two suggestions from my side. The towers seem to be tilting to the right. I'd try to saturate the colors a bit more so the color of the bricks and the blue paint work will make the bridge stand out. The colors will contrast with the grey sky I think.

Nice shot, the clouds really do match the bridge, and add a lot to the shot.

If any of you ever go to London again, I heartily recommend going a few miles west on the river and getting some shots of Hammersmith Bridge and the surrounding area - especially early in the morning around 6ish at this time of year - not as famous but more impressive in my view, and there's some great pubs as well!:
