I spent last week traveling the backroads of Massachusetts. The fall colors were glorious, the food was delicious and I had a blast. These two photos were taken on an impulse stop along the road...... Enjoy!
Edit: the sky looks wonky due to the compression. Try to ignore it! :):)

Stunning colors, Maureen. We in Finland hardly ever have clear blue sky during the brightest fall colors, so this is a treat to me to see.

I wish I had that rich blue sky with my fall color shots. We've had nothing but clouds and rain here for the last week or two. The colors in the second shot are beautiful, Maureen.

Thanks everyone.... we hit the peak colors in Southern Massachusetts but they were starting to get bare trees in the northern part of the state.

JT: I used a circular polarizer to deepen up the blue skies a bit.....it sure helps that color pop.

WOW! Maureen you found the tree. :D :D Beautiful shot, the polerising filter does make the sky pop, I think it does a better job than an ND myself. That's when I remember to put it on, trouble is skies like that are far and few between, You picked a good week.

That second shot is great, is that I-90 in the background, was that taken around Lee or am I way off?

Really nice, especially the first one. I think wonky is perfectly acceptable around here!
