Connie lad is the MC on this thread. However, he has probably succumbed to demigod Hypnos (obviously, not a Mere Mortal) by now, so I shall attempt to critique your shot the best way I know how in his absence.
I think the forte of it is a strikingly Dr. Doolittle atmposphere, with a pinch of Noah Ark, as well as Kingdom Come.
Catholic faunal themes like that generally appeal to Connie and Maria, possibly Olligarchy as well.
Also, a special doomsday Kingdom Come effect is attained by positioning the feed atop of an intercontinental missile silo. Clearly, the image reflects your belief in ultimate preparedness and survival of the fitest.

Connie forgive me for posting unrelated photo material, but I wanna make Maria feel she is really surounded by old friends.
(I know I am herewith running a terrible risk of attracting panting Busterboy to this thread).

marie- absolutely superb! The sign makes an apt title and it would play nicely in Olli's potty thread, as well. :)

OK, I do appreciate that part. However, for your continuing edification, I must tell you that the classification pigeonhole you have placed yoursef into (;) ) is not a lonely isolation cell at all. For example, there is another junior member (not overly active as of late) who claims to be in possession of two 50 f/1.0's in his kit. There are a few more I know of, motives unknown.

Actually, if the truth be known, I have 2 so my wife can use one. She never does. She likes the 24-105 as she says it is just right for a woman and the 24-70 is too heavy.:D I should sell the second one since I only use one, but just have not gotten around to it.

Wow, 2 50 f/1.0's. That would be something, really would be something.

Thank you ( breathes a sigh of relief). Sell it to Ronald Sr.Jr. . Geez, perhaps that is actually an ex Ronald's brick ?

In fact I spoke to a chap who had four 50 f/1.0's at one point of time. However, he has divested himself of all of them since....he probably raised close to $20,000 in the process. Yes, those are true coLLectors. ;)
