Very, very nice photos. I have seen multiple rainbows (never that intense), but they always were parallel to one another. I have never seem them at different angles like that. Thanks for sharing, Damian.

Not only have I never seen 3 rainbows, but I have never seen one as intense as that. Great capture!

Absolutely stunning!
What a lucky find and an excellent capture.
It appears you saw what is modelled in the left most portion of this diagram (external link).

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Thanks everyone - all about being in the right place at the right time and shouting "pull over" to my wife! :)

I have seen a moonlight rainbow - when I was a little kid. We were going down to the farm for late night miling with my dad and saw it then. I remember it vividly.

very cool, I saw 3 at one time once, but was in the middle of a storm on Lake Powel and had to keep the bow of the boat pointed up high to keep the water out, and got negative responses from the wife and kids about stopping for a pic... :(

Well spotted, I suppose you couldn't miss something like that and anyone would be compelled to stop. It looks like the sun was low in the sky was it evening or morning? Good capture Damian, well composed for such a grab shot.
