First outside shots w/ new 28-135mm IS USM

First time I got outside w/ my new (used) 28-135mm IS USM.
It was dusk so some of the shots are dark.
Please comment, positive or negative. I'm still learning!

This shot is dark, I know. I've played w/ a bit in PS but didn't have much luck. I have the original if anyone wants it.

#3. is only at 1/60th of a second and therefore slighly soft...

Did you use your Image Stabilizer?

The colors in the last one are real nice...

Did you use your Image Stabilizer?

The colors in the last one are real nice...

IS was on but the light was pretty poor. I think i used the portrait setting so it probally auto picked 1/60th.
