stream from the waterfall

I was walking up the long path to a waterfall and I ended up liking this shot better than the waterfall pics which were not used because of harsh full sun light and dark half shadow.

It looks like a good composition but too much detail is lost in compression to really enjoy it.

Here's a reprocessed shot i think it look's a little better than the first. The first shot I used Ps fill flash the repro shot i used auto contrast which worked out better this time i should have tried it to begin with.

I defiantly like the second version better. First one seemed too dark. Nice shot :)

The second looks a lot better, I tried playing with it a bit and instead of auto contrast I used auto levels, and cropped the path on the right. But that is my take on the shot, I like it though.

Helen just happens to be one of our favorite places to get away to. We really love it up there and it's just a short one hour drive from home. I see that you're from Ga. Where would that be? I'm from Hartwell.
