I've always wanted to get into photography. I took this picture about three years ago (maybe longer) and now three years later i've finally decided (have the finances available) to invest in a DSLR.

Wish me Luck and i hopefully i'll have more to post soon

Taken w/ a P&S nikon (no PP)

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Stunning picture. I sure hope you will enjoy your "investment". What camera will you be buying? And lens?

Ow one suggestion: keep your picture < 800 pixels wide. That way the picture will fit onto one screen. Now there is a black bar in the middle because I had to stretch it onto my other monitor. I hate it when that happens ;).

ill be getting the 30d w/430 flash. And for a lense im thinking ill start with the tamron 17-50 unless the tokina comes out and it gets better reviews. Ill also be picking up the 85/1.8 or 100/2. I would like to do my friends wedding in june so ill have a steep learning curve ahead. Wish me luck
