Do alot of people use both the 85 f1.8 and 135 f2 for basketball? Currently I am using the 1D + 85mm combo.

Sorry I didn't get back to you on My Space PM. I'm having trouble with them delivering my messages. The 135mm focal length would be great, IMO.

The 100mm f/2 seems cheap and I was thinking of getting it, but then I was thinking, does 15mm more really deserve another prime? Will I really be willing to switch lenses for such a small difference in focal length? Maybe the money would be better saved for a 135? Oct 21, 2006 23:44 | #4 Ever since I got the 1D, I don't really use the 20D much anymore. Even as a second body with the 70-200 during football. I was thinking of selling the 20d for this lens.

You have to learn to shoot tighter even though there's just 15mm between the two lenses. And I don't switch lenses, as I have two bodies to use.

Well, I only have one body, and I am beginning to think it'de make little sense to get a 100mm ontop of an 85mm.
