Hvad sker der her?

Prøv lige at oversætte dette med babelfish "rødgrød med fløde"

Not much is happening here Tommy and you are right, babelfish is incapable of translating Danish...(how'd I do?)

the real question is do they make sense, or are you finally understand what they are going on about?

Either case is kind of scary.

Inter-Tran does Danish...but it leaves a lot to be desired...this is what it came up with for your comment...What occurs there here? Try straight that interpret this by babelfish rødgrød by cream "

Eureka, I FOUND IT!!!

the thread song: (took me all this time too...)
On a dark desert highway, leaving a tripod behind in the nite air
Warm smell of diesel, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, a potn strap lay for all to see
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
and that's when I knew belmondo stop by this way.

Welcome to the Hotel of POTN
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely camera,
ohhhh canon I love you dearly
Any time of year, you can find it here

The pink champagne on ice
all told by the bold pink man
And he said 'We are all just prisoners built by our own bricks"
This could be Heaven or this could be Hell'
lucky you feel thu the hole in to hell
I thought I heard them say...

Welcome to the Hotel of POTN
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely camera
plenty of L lens for your device
Any time of year, you can find it here

Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, for she thinks that we can post any faster
She got a lot of pretty, pretty cameras that she calls friends
and yet all she shoots is ducks that dance in the courtyard
Some shoot to remember, some shoot cause they are bad

Welcome to the Hotel of POTN
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely camera
They livin' it up at the POTN
What a nice surprise, to get an L device.

'Relax,'said the night man,

you know what speed this place travels at when you see the last 4 posts where done at the same time.

which means that 4 people around the world are typing something out and posting it at the same time at the same place.

hmmm spooky

power of the internet...

Well you understood the first part correctly.

The second part I am not even going to try translating myself  "Rødgrød med fløde" is a real tester. If you can say that out loud then you won't have a problem learning danish.

Kilkenny is the next street over from me...this must be an Irish neighborhood...because I live on Wicklow.

I actually learned to use the search engine to plow through monolithic threads. Go to advanced search, enter your keywords, select "Show as POSTS" instead of show as threads (default), select the forum you know the thread exists in. This'll take you straight to the candidate posts, or at least within a couple of pages of them.

I used this to re-read some comments about the 100-400 in the massive 300/2.8 thread. Yes, I enjoy abusing myself and making the wait for my new glass so much harder ;)

Maureen: I just took two! :D night!

It's storming up a storm here...no pictures...husband did some water droplet macros today, probably just out of boredom but they turned out pretty cool...

but now that I've found that song, I too am off to bed. Night all...
