I hate getting up at 6am every morning. At times I wonder how I manage. Ugh.

Little son came into bed scared at 3 a.m. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well. I finally fell asleep at 5:30 and slept until 7:30. Wow. I'm tired. Then got a call to sub this morning and then teach in the afternoon and then in the evening I'm speaking to the town planning committee about blocking rezoning of a piece of land in our neighborhood. Oh, I'm going to be so tired today! No 5D playing again! It's a comspiracy.:(

It's hilarious for the first half, but it tends to drag a little after that. The 'fight' scene is a classic, however.

Enjoy

I'm up at 5:00am to make cinnamon rolls for my bride. What's wrong with this picture?

You too enjoy fresh baked cinnamon rolls...therefore it is a perfect picture...;)

I hope you get to play with your 5D this weekend! You really have to take it out for a test drive. I was looking at the prices for the 1MDK's and the 5D over here. Why is the 5D less money??

The 5D is a step up from the 20/30D series....but it isn't in the same league as a 1D series camera. The biggest differences are in the bodies, batteries and general build strength. The 1D series are strictly designed as professional cameras...built to take the lumps and bumps of hard daily use. The 5D is a great camera, but it will not take the punishment that a 1D could withstand.

You are welcome....also, the 1D series cameras are somewhat weather shielded....the 5D isn't.

Well, I won't be getting a 1D unless I ever become a photojournalist...

You know what? If I ever got into photography as a profession (doubt I will), then I have a feeling portraits, photojournalism and PJ styled weddings would be my forth.
