Why can't there be any young(or George Clooney) attractive males representing the photography community?

That's a difficult threesome you've chosen there ... I suspect the best we could offer here is two out of three, at best  and the term 'attractive' may need to be modified to 'barely palatable' even then!

Maybe, but one of the reasons I took up photography was so that I would be the one behind the camera, not in front of it....

oh yes!! absolutely agree with you here. I am a photographer not a model.. and my first motivation for buying a camera was very truly just that. I was going to NY and didn't want to depend on my sisters picture taking skills because she would make me pose all over the city.. So, I bought a camera... ;) ;)

That's one reason I took the job of Chief Family Photo Taker.

Of course it looks like my kids are motherless, my husband spouseless and my siblings with one less sister if you look at the family photo albums through the years.;) :D

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

  .. So, my buddy Ryan drove home with me a few weeks ago we stopped by my aunts home and he wandered up and down her hallways and the many, many photographs in the walls... and finally asks where I am.. my auntie says, 'to the left of the bathroom wall but it's from the eighth grade'.. somehow this didn't make me feel remotely guilty... :D

LOL. :) Even my Christmas picture this year only has the 5 males, since I took the shot. I won't even explain myself. I'll just tell everyone in the family letter that I am doing my photography seriously now, and they'll get the point. I've been missing for years now and my kids will probably tell their kids that Grandma was invisible. Always behind the lens and bossing everyone around. Sari, you're still cute and young. You need to be in the pictures. And Maureen, you are still cute as can be, but I can see why you like shooting your family. Skip is hot! And Aaron is pure joy.

You have such a beautiful face, Sari. And your face has many expressions. I can't wait to see those pictures from Africa. I'm really hoping the others will sneak a few of you taming some lions instead of attracting them.

I am definitely beyond the cute stage....actually, I grew into my looks. I got better in my 40's:confused: I was really an UGLY kid. But my children and grandson are beauties so I don't mind that it skipped a generation.

Thats funny that you'd say that...your children are very beautiful...and frankly from the photos I've seen, you son and grandson look just like you! So you really couldn't have been an ugly kid ;)

I was fairly cute as a kid... lots of curly dark hair and big brown eyes.. unfortunately I peaked at about nine...  .. sad but true.. But, I do like Suzy saying that i'm cute.. even though at twenty-four I have reason to maybe want to be more than a 'cute girl'... oh well.. the hands we are dealt...
