You know there is a downside to that.

Next time you are looking at pictures taken in days gone by (and I am not talking just a few years) you notice that none of them include the photographer.

It is just as important as the photo is the photographer.

BTW you may be able to find a photo somewhere on this site. (not that any of you are going to find it) but normal I don't take photos of me.

And just on a side note, when I was a baby, I did win a contest for being the cutest. if only the judges could see me know

i've heard that argument before and i'm perfectly content with the decision i've made... you know.. the last photo that was taken voluntarily of me was the year I started the eighth grade.. that would be... eleven years. pretty good if you think about it. Eleven years of camera avoidance shows a pretty good backbone if you ask me...;) .. I did take one photo. For my Africa traveling companions... and promptly deleted it.. :D :D ..

You know I do see a flaw in your plan, you are going with other photographers and one thing I noticed being around other photographers, they like to take photos of other photographers.

I'm working on that.. the only one who hasn't promised not to post a photo of me is Dave and I believe Pat... the rest promise, that if I atleast allow them to have a momento they won't share it... ;) ;)

I wish you wouldn't worry about this so much, Miss Sari. None of us are so shallow that we would judge you by your looks. You already know we like you as a person...without ever seeing your face.:D

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

That's a difficult threesome you've chosen there ... I suspect the best we could offer here is two out of three, at best  and the term 'attractive' may need to be modified to 'barely palatable' even then!

ok - leave out the young part then. The young ones are just trouble anyway. ;)

well ofcourse.. and I'm not a troll.. i've never said I was.. I know that I can and am presentable in public... In all honesty I just don't like photos of myself and don't see how it's relevent here.. I'm not nearly as militant about it in real life as I sound.. and I have no problem letting people meet and get to know me in the big old world I live in.. I just plain and simple don't like photos of myself and really don't like them taken.. Now, if Don hadn't started a big old campaign to find out what I looked like months ago this would never have been a subject to begin with.. it does seem to pop up regularly in the most unlikely places and from unlikely people.. Why the heck does Petey care what I look like?.. Or is he just teasing?.. I agree that the folk's i'm going to be traveling with need to know what I look like for practical purposes and I showed them a photo of myself.. I just think that there are much better compositions out there than me.. At best i'm kinda cute and have nice eyes.. But, really nothing memorable and no reason for any kind of fuss to be made.. I am shy.. always have been and don't think that I will ever be completely comfortable with a lot of attention. I enjoy POTN because it allows me to have a much more liberated personality than i'm capable of in real life... I had a very nice gentlemen who works in my resort describe me fairly well.. he called me a gentle intelligent little lady... I think I can live with that.. okay, i'm babbling. it's late time to try to read myself to sleep... good night all!...

You hit two key criteria right on the head, but forgot frail and rich are even more essential  ;) I only have Claire's interests at heart and so I am afraid I must turn down your kind offer on her behalf.

Wow, I got myself a marriage pimp!

Wu, of course I won't forget Michel! :)

Peter, I can carry camera gear...all the way to Sweden even! :D

Sari, I can do the Anna Nicole thing, I'll just marry the man. Nobody said I can't have a young luvver. ;)

More to a good man than looks, I think. :)

Sari, how was your Thanksgiving dinner? Get enough turkey?
