I hope I live long enough to see it.:-P

Just curiosity here, but do you have your gear included in your will?

This would be the perfect opportunity to give you a real smart-alecky answer, but then I would have to ban myself. It ain't easy being a moderator sometmies.

Anyway, our wills are very simple. Should anything happen to me, my wife will become a very well-equipped photographer overnight.;)

Speaking of wills, I was wondering if anyone has specified in their will who their stuff goes to? Not that I expect responses here. That's pretty personal. But my kids are not exactly fighting over my gear. They have no idea what I have and what I do, really. They just think I point & shoot. ;)

It just popped into my mind because a local widow[whose husband was a photogapher] just wanted to get all the stuff out of the house. She sold it all for $100 to the first person who came.

Of course I was told this about two months after this happened.

Oh goody, if the events were to take such an unfortunate turn, all that fine gear would finally see some use.;)

Maybe. I can't remember what I had for lunch, much less conversations from a year ago. If so, were we funny? If so, intentionally?

Based on what I remember we sounded habitually pathetic. Probably unintentionally. I think them younger folks see the subject as corny and uncool.

It's understood that Abby-girl would get my kit if anything were to happen to me... I don't doubt for a minute that folks would have the common sense to give it to her.. But, I don't have a will... do I need one?.. Like a living will or whatever they're called?..

People still do/use wills? I thought that tradition died out... (pun intended) :) :)

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Not to be negative or anything, but you never know. There are plenty of people in history that never planned on dieing when they did. That's why life is what it is. That's why one should live for the moment rather than just live.

Oh and it's just started to rain again. oh how I love the smell of rain.

I don't have a will, but probably should put something together in a few years. If something happened to me now it'd all just go to my parents. I'm fine with that. If something happened one of them, it'd go to the spouse, if he/she died it'd all go to me.
