Hey that reminds me Justin....I went to the airshow this weekend. I can safely say...it sucked. 1st year that the Thunderbirds did not come to town  Anyhow, one of the vendors were selling a model of the Presidential Helicopter....what version do you fly? I think the model was a variant of the Blackhawk.

I'm in the UH-1N. If the blackhawk variant is green, gold stripe with a white top, that's the marine version. If it's a darker green with a gold stripe, then it's Army. Thunderbirds... eh, I'd much rather see the Blue Angels...

Nah...the model had blue on it....hmmm....maybe I was wrong on what it was. I only saw the Presidential seal on the box and model. I'd like to see the Blue Angels too as they have not been here in a long while, but I cannot beleive that the RAFB was unable to get either demo team.

It's been a few years since I've seen a proper airshow. I was part of a crew that was sent to RAF Fairford for RIAT-Royal International Air Tattoo. Largest airshow in Europe I think... Anyway, I caught West Nile the weekend before that, and got deployed to evacuate Lebanon the morning of the opening of RIAT. Besides that, Rotorfest 2007 was my first in a long time!

Dozer I am closer to San Antonio, actually outside of the city....a little over 1 hour south of Austin. Why would you be moving to Austin??

tired of Florida, and looking for a place to make money in buy, fix and resale houses quick. here the price of houses is too crazy and their is way too many houses for sale to be able to resale fast. and Austin look like a nice place to live.

TX is good for buying, fixing and selling houses. Careful with Ausitn though....one of the 'mottos' is "Keep Austin Weird".

well we have our share of weird people here. and i have worked in a Strip Club for the last 8 years, so i'm used to the not too normal life.

I would really appreciate the different landscape there. here everything is flat...
