Hello,
Can someone tell me what's the minimum for digital photo prints? 180ppi? 360ppi? or somewhere in b/t. Does the size of the print matter? It will not be larger than 8"X11".

Magazines though use 600, but I don't know why the rules are different for their use.

But generally I aim for 240 ppi. But 180 is quite adequate for larger prints which will be viewed from a greater distance.

I have 30" prints at 100dpi that look great from a couple of meters away, but if someone will be up close you want 300dpi. Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.
