Bad Sigma 18-200mm zoom?

Hi,

My apologies for referring you to another thread, but what started out as a more general 350D question has morphed into a lens question.

So, might I ask those of you who are knowledgeable about lenses to pop over to http://www.photography​-on-the.net …php?p=2153722#p​ost2153722 and tell me whether the image you are seeing is "acceptable" for a cheap long-range zoom like the Sigma 18-200mm, or is it as poor as I feel it is?
