Very nice work, the hair color is fantastic. I really like #1, love the face in #3. I think the blue shirt works well with the hair color, but in #3 & 4 it appears to be stretched a bit tight. I'd love to see the face in #3 with a little more relaxed pose.

Very Nice images. 1&2 are the overall best. 3 is not very flattering due to the elbow pointed at the camera and show the waist line, even moderatly full figured ladies will object to side on shots. In the 4th she is leaning hard on her left arm causing her tricep to enlarge making her arms look bigger than they are.

Very lovely model and I love the open shade you used with her skin type.

Good job,

Les

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. You have made my day with your complements and I will take your suggestions to heart and learn from them. As for setup, it was nothing special. Used 580ex for fill flash on all except the last one. I used 2 reflectors for that. Shot these with 70-200 4.0 using a tripod. They were all in the shade as it was a very sunny day. I shot raw.

I know what you mean about the tight shirt and the bosom on #3. My husband noticed the bosom immediately.;)

There were a lot more but her hair kept falling across her eye and I didnt see it so a lot of them were spoiled by that. From now on I will have hairspray in my camera bag. lol

Show us those too. I shoot loads of fashion and long ago learned that if the hair is in the right place across the face it can look quite appealing.

Again good job, let me know if that model ever decides to come to northern CA. I would like to work with her.

#3 is not a flattering pose/angle for her.

I really like the first two the most. You did a pretty good job Char. Keep it up. I would also like to see a couple with her hair covering her eyes. I like those type of photos for some reason.
