Canon EOS 350d - Sigma 70-200 f2.8. All shots around the f3.2 to f3.5 and ISO 200. Shot in JPEG to maximise fps. Next purchase is a Sigma 2x t/con.

Nice, I like the different view point in #3. Only the background is a bit distracting and slightly angled.
Somehow I feel the horses are a bit to distant in the first two shots but maybe it is just that they are a bit to far over the jump, because cropping would remove part of the horses and that wouldn't work.

First shot: whew! talk about a loooooong release over a fence, hahaha!

Second shot: To me, the chestnut horse looks a bit worried, maybe he's tired or the takeoff spot was a bit tricky, but he's twisting a little behind to clear the hurdle. The dark bay, on the other hand, is bold and confident and looks every inch the winner. These distinctions might not be noticeable to those unfamiliar with horses, but the contrast between the two horses' apparent emotions about the job at hand is interesting to me. Your nice clear photo shows it well.

Third photo: Sublime! I love it. Great angle. Is it the same bay horse as in the second photo? Color is the same, braids are on the same side, have the same white yarn...
