The water is so still. She must be barely gliding along.

Nice but I think this need to be cropped. Keep the same amount that is left of the kayak but on the right of it as well. It'll end up being around 4:5 ratio I bet.

I absolute love this image of the girl in a canoe. It has a wonderful salon feel to it. I'm posting my version and hope it gives you ideas on how to finish it.
I see it as a large wall size on canvas !!!

With more photography like this you won't be "starving" for long. I like the way it is cropped because of all the oar dip circles in the water - shows direction. Have any more pics to show us?

That goes double for me. The circles in the water give the photo movement and dimension...it's a great shot...

Fantastic shot. I wouldn't change a thing.

Typically, with movement you want something entering the frame, not exiting. But in this case it adds some tension (inverse to the smooth, calm water), implies that she was moving pretty quickly - and besides, with the ripples in the water trailing behind, it just works better this way.

I like the first photo very much. I wouldn't have thought crop until I saw the crop version which I do like better. It looks like a lovely place where your were taking photos.
