Hi,

I have tried to import 1 GBs worth of Raw images of a CF card, whilst i can see the thumbnails they have a strong purple cast over the detail which i can see. Ordinarilly i open them in CS2 directly but it tells me they are not a valid document type. Has anybody seen this , or do you have any suggestions. Theres a shot of one of the goals from Tonights real madrid game in there and id really like to have it

You can get one of the programs to repair and recover any images it can find. Are they raw or jpeg? Do a google for memory card recovery programs and you should find something.

Hello,

Go to your local camera shop and buy a 1 GB SanDisk Extreme III card. They come with a small CD that contains a license for RescuePro. Sounds like you need a new card anyway, plus you'll get the software that you need to (possibly) recover the lost pics on your old card. If you're luckey, you might even get one of the specially marked Extreme III packages that includes a license for Capture One LE, Phase One's RAW processing software. Good luck!
