First off, Thanks to all who commented on my last set of photos of my daughters engagement. My daughter also said to tell everyone "Thanks" who commented on how nice she look. She's really a great kid with a huge heart. I have been blessed.

Anyway here is one with out a lot of PP filters plug in's etc as some thought thought the last set I may have went a little to far. :D Sometimes that's my nature. If a little is good a lot has to better doesn't it? On the first do you like it as is or should I crop this more of a close up portrait (Face only)

The second one I am curious if you like the mono tint.

Thanks and C&C welcome and encouraged.

Greg

Wow she is a really pretty girl!

On the first one I would like to see it cropped a little tighter and maybe clone out the tree

I like the second one alot nice composition. I do like the tone. I would like to see it in color also.

Thanks,

Lindsi. Here is the same pic croped tighter. I really can't decide which looks better. My daughter I don't think likes this one as well because she said it makes her look nude.

shilophoto, Thank You. You can downlaod the frame action at

Nice photography! However, I think that the first and recently added cropped picture look over sharpened. That may be because you intend on printing them, but from a monitors representation they look over done.

I do like the second one. The gradiations of dark to light from the lower right to the upper left and the foreground seem spot on! It also looks as if she is floating standing next to him. Not sure if it's her shoes or true love, but it works.

Congrats on the announcement!

Thanks for critique on the sharpening, I was wondering myself if it was a little to much and was hoping someone would call me on it if it was. I have started using the TLR sharpening kits and this was the only the 2nd or thrid pic I attempted with it. The further I get in my photography education the more I am learing that sharpening isn't as simple as a quick run of USM. WIth this said should one plan on sharpening more if planning to print the image vs online display?

On the second pic thanks for the compliment. I friend of mine who is an aspering photog liked this pic as well as any from the shoot so I thought I would post it. Glad you like it.

Oh and yes she was floating!! These were taken literally within 30 mins of him popping the question so she was pretty excited. Thanks

Greg

g-money. These, especially the second one, look much better in terms of processing than your first set. Subtilty is sometimes best...

Great shots :)

Thanks Whisaz

Yeah I gotta learn when to quit running actions and sliding sliders and moving curves. :D

No doubt. I have the same problem, though I generally stay away from most of the filters. It's easy to go overboard though... but if you're learning PS in the process then there's no harm in that!
