I like that shot! the lighting/coloring isn't my style, but i think for natural lighting... you can't go wrong! I love how the dog is closer to "us" then your wife... makes him look HUGE!!!

He still has one more move.

8X10 ? That should be a 30" X 24" minimum !!! I'd do it in a step-mount and have it in canvas. Don't listen to the 8X10 insult ... it's very nice. Go wall size and NOT 8X10.

Fun shot! I love how big the dog looks. Shame about the camera in her hand and the leash, but it tells a story.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. I did print an 8x10 at home and it looks great. My wife says its ok, but shes just being modest i'm sure. I wanted to get it printed on canvas, but i'm unsure of which company to use. Maybe someone can give me some advice on who to use?

Do a search on a search engine for pro labs in the Bay Area. Also ask some pro studios. Make sure what color space they use and what ppi they require.

It's cool that you are in the area of "The City". I spent 3½ years as an Air Force Photographer in Marin County at Hamilton Air Force Base in the late 60's and never ran out of areas to photograph. I'd love to so some of the Golden Gate Bridge sticking out of the fog from on top of Mt. Tamalpais. I loved doing images in Sausalito as the fog rolled in from the ocean. I'm jealous near Hershey ,Pa.
