And over the Cumberland Hills - the very last shot that I took before I got drenched and still had 3.5 miles to walk back to the car!

You have much the same weather as we do as I have relations who live in Seattle so have experienced your weather Radtech1 wrote in post #2158369 David, Lovely lighting. Very pastoral. One little thing that I wish, though. Compositionally, I think it might have balanced a bit better if you had moved just a wee bit to your right as you took the shot. The road seems a bit awkward coming in from the middle of the bottom of frame. As far as the 3.5 mile walk goes - well, just be grateful it wasn't 5.6 kilometers! Rad Thanks for the comment and suggestion Rad, I agree and even on the original it could have been just a tad more to the right. As you can see from the original image below, I cropped it from the bottom which made the road more central. montreal wrote in post #2158379 Hopefully you had a waterproof bag for the camera! But it was worth it for that lovely shot. Did you use a GND filter, I wonder? The camera was well covered it was me that got the soaking! Didn't even have a waterproof with me! David

I was guessing you used a GND. edit: you know what? I think I prefer the original... SanderH wrote in post #2158717 Meerkat, great shot!
