Lens filter pouches? Are they safe to use?

I am starting to get some filters and I know as I add lenses I will have some additional filters (Circular Polarizers and UV for each lens). I would like to use a soft pouch like this one:

It will be inside a pocket in my LowePro backpack and not just flopping around outside with no additional padding but I like the idea of a multiple filter pouch as opposed to hard plastic cases for each filter and it also eliminates some of the bulk and weight in the bag.

Is this a safe thing to do? What do others do when they are carrying many filters?

Generally speaking Tamrac products are pretty good. I have no experience with the pouch you are looking at, but am now thinking about getting one myself.

If you buy one in the near future, be sure to post a review with your thoughts on it, both good and bad.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure which I will get but I like the ones suggested here more than the one I found because the one I was looking at held 3 filters and I like the idea of being able to carry at least 4. I'll make a decision soon.
