Here we go, the Events Calendar for 2007, have kept roughly the same rotation, but made it the second Saturday now to avoid clashes with things like Guy Fawkes day in November (not that there will be one in 2007 as fireworks will all be banned  )

Quarterly events seemed to work well, anymore and I think it will wear a bit thin.

So the GKPE Event dates for 2007 are (drum roll please):

GKPE Part VI - Saturday 10 February
GKPE Part VII - Saturday 12 May
GKPE Part VII - Saturday 11 August
GKPE Part IX - Saturday 10 November

Put these in your calnders now, then you won't miss out :D

Also feel free to add any dates to this thread of interest for mini GKPE's such as sports events, festivals etc.

We should do another studio day as well in there. That went down very well as did Tonys Mangere foreshore and other half day or evening outings.

Non Auckland guys, don’t be left out! Feel free to contribute, a number of us do travel around and can probably make things happen else where, or when we get numbers up :D

This is a good start, I will update the ideas into a single post every so often so we don't have to re-read the whole thread :)

10 Feburary - GKPE VI
20-22 April - V8 Supercar meeting at Pukekohe
12 May - GKPE VII
18-20 May - Queenstown Landscape Course with Aussie POTNers
11 August - GKPE VIII
10 November - GKPE IX

Keep em comming! Tony, perhaps you could post your wifes roster so we can plan some around that ;)

If its ok with Scott same place. Scott you got a bigger table for the annual gear photo I think it may be a bit small

If Scott can't do it, I'm sure we can at our place - no pool to speak of but reasonable space out the back...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)

I'm happy to have the BBQ at my place again. The later we have it the warmer the pool will be, but whatever everyone wants to do is fine. I'm probably going to be away for the first week in January.

But if someone else want a turn at having everyone invade their house I won't be offended.

Last time some of the guys got together for a little adventure beforehand anyway, would be a good idea to include one of those again :D
